The Foray Begins Now

On Your heaving chest ocean I here rest
Feeling every breath
I’m floatin’ on Your open waves in here
Waiting to hit land

I am Your child high up in the oak
You hold me to the branch alone
Seeing each leaf
I think and look and adventure believe

My thoughts could land me on a beach
I could dream of being in Heaven
Pure clear gold or perfect grass b’neath feet
This is how we meet You You and me me

Could wear an aquamarine ring
Holding the colour of Your sea
Or a golden citrine ring to Your glory speak
How a ring of rubies tells of Your sacrifice
I might like Your pearl in a ring held tight

You line up all my golden apples
Set them in a song of my redemption
I go in peace singing
Granted all I’ve petitioned

A trillion diamond shinin’ I’ve decided
That is my ring trilliant
You all three in One
To catch my eye alone
